James: Thanks James. The house has been like this for the past 30 years. The only new construction are the asphalt road (done in 2000) and the the roofs (done in 2006). My dad is the architect and my mom and brother are the landscape designers with me as their manual laborer:-)
anju: Thanks anju. Yes, the open space on the terrace is a perfect place to chill out (yes, Odomos is required during the evenings). It is also an ideal place to sit and watch the rain. Will soon so the ‘first time kiss’ tag…desperately trying to find somebody to kiss
Your house is colourful and absolutely fantastic. It has that serene and tranquil atmosphere around it.
I am thinking about vacation when I saw ur house…. really a great getaway.
I am calculating….. all my vacation is over this year.
For my everyday life, I like to live in a busy atmosphere though.
Enjoy your beautiful house and have fun. I am visiting ur blog often although I am unable to put comments.
anju: Thank you very much for the help. But it will be returned with interest.
chekku: That is where I live now. This is the place I was born and where I grew up. Nice place for a getaway. But I had not been to that place for the last 13 years.
Vijaya: Thanks Vijaya. That house is in Kottayam. I live in Cochin. My dad and mom still live there.
venus: It is a beautiful place. The house sits in the middle of my mom’s garden. So the greenery, flowers and nice trees.
anu: Thanks anu. Have not read Rebecca.
bindu: Thanks. It is in a place called Muttuchira, in Kottayam district.

I liked the landscaping and the whole atmosphere around it..!

Too good. Just too good. The look and the ambience is just ideal for reading a nice book in a chaarukasera with a kattanchaaya on the side.
Am ready to sacrifice the kattanchaaya part…but book is essential!
