This beautiful piece of poetry touched my heart. It could well have been written for me! It is so easy to drown in the setbacks of life and give up all hope.
It takes a lovely reminder like this to watch out for that silver lining around every dark cloud. Thank you.

As for the Rules of Poetry; I would like to quote Bruce Deitrick Price on his take on the subject, "There are no rules. Wrangling about rules can take you down dead-end roads. The history of the arts is littered with the corpses of creative projects that started off with some theoretical soul declaring, "A painting should be X...A novel must be C." Says who??? Sometimes these declarations and manifestos — these rules — serve to keep you focused. Probably more often they seal you off from life and the endless possibilities of life.

I believe poetry flows from the heart. This POEM proves it beyond a shadow of doubt.

Sheeba: Thanks sheeba.

Paresh: You have the wisdom buddy.

Suja: Thanks suja.

Rahul: Thanks Rahul. But I don't have the slightest idea about the rules of poetry :-)

Vipin: Thanks. But I don't know. This one was a fluke.

Rajesh: Welcome. Yes, trying out new things, but I don't know whether it is a good idea. Story? I don't know...

Am a regular visitor. Commenting the first time. You seem to try out new things this year--cartoons, poems, etc. What next? Can we expect a story--one like the 'Kiss' you wrote sometime back. Keep going. Wish you all the best and have a great year.

Intersting poem. Even though it defies all the rules of poetry, it is nice as the message is good.
